a Pet Parent's Devotion
Ray
Dr. Seolryeong Jung (Ray), veterinarian and co-founder, has dedicated his career to veterinary medicine and animal nutrition for more than two decades through clinical practice, research, education, and individual consultations. Living with his beloved cat, Gureum, Ray witnessed firsthand how balanced nutrition could transform a pet's health and quality of life.
Yvonne
Co-founder Jiyoon Heo (Yvonne) discovered the importance of nutrition through personal loss. After losing a puppy to parvovirus only five days after adoption, she promised herself that Toi, her next companion, would receive the very best care possible. Yvonne began traveling across Korea in search of responsibly raised meat, trusted organic ingredients, and the healthiest ways to prepare fresh meals at home.
The deeper she delved into pet nutrition, however, the more she realized that love and effort alone cannot create complete nutrition. Fresh ingredients were only part of the equation. Without nutritional balance, scientific formulation, and food safety standards, homemade diets could leave important nutritional gaps or even cause harm.
Ray and Yvonne first met at a veterinary nutrition seminar, where they discovered they shared the same goal of making trustworthy products with the perfect nutritional balance that they would happily feed their own.
Since then, they have collaborated with veterinarians, microbiologists, nutrition researchers, food safety specialists, and manufacturing experts to develop products that meet the highest standards of nutritional integrity and quality. They personally visit production facilities, evaluate manufacturing systems, review the latest scientific research, and continuously refine every formulation based on evolving nutritional evidence.
What began as two personal stories has grown into a lifelong commitment to improving the lives of pets everywhere. That commitment lives in every Ray & Yvonne product.
